Indeed it is and what more summer asks other than putting you coats away? Summer music, of course.
Have a list!
#3 - Vampire Weekend (self titled).
This album is very upbeat and the only word I can think of to describe it is quirky. It makes you want to dance in the most ridiculous ways. Perfect for the season, I think.
#2 Take a Vacation! by The Young Veins
Everything from this record screams summer, for the artwork to the limited edition bundles that inclued beachball. Curiously, though, the album is not very cheery; it has a morose streak, but we all know that summer can be very melancholic, anyway.
#1 Pretty. Odd. by Panic At The Disco
I can only call this one imaginative. Last summer I always listened to it while lying on a hammock with summer rain as background noise. It was all very relaxing. Mostly, it's a great soundtrack for daydreaming.
This is my personal favorite.
