It's almost summer (part II)

We all have Summer reading lists. Here are some suggestions:

Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie

This feels like an obvious choice because of the theme of the book. It's Summer, who wants to grow up? Then Summer leaves and we just have to deal with it.

Peter Pan is one of those infinite re-reads type of book, much like the next one on the list.

Alice in Wonderlan by Lewis Carroll

My favorite book in the world. It's typical in the way it takes you into the story, but it's so peculiar in what it does to you once you're in it. What makes Alice in Wonderland such a love of mine is that while incredibly entertaining, it also makes you think.

The Giver by Lois Lowry

A friend of mine recommended The Giver to me last year and said: "It's not a love story, but it's a story about love."
